If you haven't seen the latest bunch of photos that Robert and I took, they are posted at wesbhots, myspace, and facebook. I am listing the links for the webshots, since I prefer to keep the majority of my photos there - the site works good and I've had photos up since 2001...One benefit of the website is that the photos are "locked" into the webshots software. You can download them as webshots screensavers but they are not supposed to be released everywhere or the internet...........Nancy
In case it doesn't work to go directly to the albums, you can go to http://www.webshots.com/ then put my name in the search box: squidgete8 You may get a few odd photos of other people or animals.

Outlandish 2009 http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/572413036zpjWjr
Description: Just chilling with our friends. School ended Friday night for both Robert and I, so we were dead tired. Didn't go on-site until 11 am Saturday and didn't do anything. (Sorry Lady Bianca - I was supposed to help with the youth tent!) Robert had been all the way to San Diego and back the last week of school as a chaperone. I was so stressed I ran a stoplight at a redlight camera and got a nice notice in the mail asking for $75. Sometimes you just need to escape the 21st century and listen to Galen's guitar.
WOW for Wilson school http://family.webshots.com/album/572267561dgzffF
Description: The results of 10 weeks of teaching middle school students about the middle ages. Lots of fun - I'd do it again - but not while I am also working and finishing a Master's degree. The food like substance is Marzipan shaped into interesting shapes - making sublties, or edible centerpieces that "fool the eye" into thinking they are something else. I was lucky when I was looking for work that I saw Keliko's ad on Facebook looking for volunteers - the day before the program started.
My classroom at Taylor Middle School http://good-times.webshots.com/album/571623474VkBXLG
Description: It was rough starting on a short term contract only ten weeks before the end of the school year. I observed the students in the inclusion classes for two weeks, then was given the last eight weeks of school to help the students understand science well enough to raise their grades before the end of school. (WHEW!) At least my classroom has been set up. My vice principal is so secure that her requestfor rehire will go through that she allowed me to lock up my cabinets and leave everything up on the wall. (I just have to answer the phone call within 24 hours while on a trip to Lousiana to pick up my son and his family!) I want computers in the classroom so everyone can use them at least one day a week - I have six of the eight I requested. It helps that I'll take quirky XP's and even 98's as long as the students can use them! (One computer keeps endlessly asking to reboot, thinking it is installing something.) The computer guy is switching jobs, so he put as many machines in my room as possible before he left for the summer, since next year's computer guy doesn't like me much. I may be doing my own support with my limited knowledge, and even worse, limited administrative access.
Robert's trip to San Diego http://travel.webshots.com/album/572709292kqltQN
Description: Nothing like having a great time and wishing I was there! (He called one day while I was at work and told me he was laying on the beach and thinking about me.) There's a few pictures around the house since I had to finish off the roll of film.
