I want to know why, after handing over billions of dollars to the auto industry, GM respectively, they're now having to file bankruptcy...putting hundreds of people out of jobs...closing down dealerships, and share holders losing thousands!?!  Doesn't this go against BO's plans to "create" jobs?  To "save" the auto industry so that catastrophes such as these wouldn't happen?  Somethin' smells rotten in Denmark to me!

I also want to know why Democrats are so to confirm the nomination of Judge Sotomayer to the Supreme Court when the President Bush nominated an equally and MORE qualified, Latino woman which they voted AGAINST?!?  I smell hypocrisy and it smells like B.O.

So much for "bail-outs."  I knew it was a scam.

They plan to file bankrupty so that they can basically get a "fresh" start. They're going to shut down several factories, lay off about 21,000 people & close several car lots. They're actually getting money from the government to go through the bankrupty procedures and then they plan on emerging into a smaller, "new" company.

Everyone knew it was a scam before it even passed...or at least they should have.  You don't hand a drowning man a drink.

We, unfortunately, are the poor folks that the power-hungry money-grubbing politicians and liberal suckers are taking down with them.

Thanks for all the fish.

I just about threw up last night when I listened to yet more of BO's forked tongue words!  He was justifying the bailout by saying, "We just couldn't stand by and allow the auto industry to sink" his reasoning?...Get this..."Too many jobs would be lost."  WHAT?!?  Can he not hear his own oblahblah?!?

They STILL had to file bankruptcy and numerous dealerships are being shut down resulting in...guess what...tens of thousands....you got it...LOSING THEIR JOBS!

Typical left wing liberal not thinking before you speak.

How long are people going to allow this train wreck of a presitent to continue before they take a stand and tell him ENOUGH!  He's so arrogant and pompous he makes my skin crawl every time I see his face or hear his voice!

Then he shows his concerns about our economy and people's finances by taking his old lady out on the town to a lavish, EXPENSIVE, date on taxpayers dime!

Did it bother you when GWB went to Crawford for months at a time and left no one at the helm?  Just wondering...oh and it is president.

WOW!  You mean I had a typo?!?  Oh my!  Or maybe it was intended to be that way.  No, it didn't bother me when President Bush went to Crawford, he left his Vice President in charge.  There's a BIG difference in going to a ranch you OWN and spending tax payers money to go out on the town.

How do you know taxpayer money was spent?  The president does get paid for his job. You are making a wide assumption.  Do you also suggest any gifts he gives his daughters are taxpayer supported and paid for?  If he earned the money, it is his to spend as he sees fit.  I am glad he took his wife out for a date--it is a demonstration of true family values.  Sorry, but we will certainly continue to disagree.

Interestingly enough, of Bushes reign, he spent a total of three years on vacation and his second in command sanctioned torture--not something to brag about.

You're right about one thing, we'll always disagree on things. "Sanctioned torture?"  LOL
