It's the only way to discribe the feeling I have right now. After a year and a half of living with my, listening to her bullshit. She has moved out. My kids can act like kids again. I can watch whatever I want on TV. I don't have to listen to her preach how her religion is better than mine. I mean were both christian, what does it matter? I had an excuse this moring to buy new trash cans and laundry baskets. It's amazing what a 30 year old mother will buy and be excited about. I can move my stuff in from storage. I can see my beloved light houses again.
I can have a barbeque and invite all our friends from church and elsewhere with out her looking down her nose because OMG my friends are Lutheran. Did you know Lutheran will still drink beer?
After this time living with my mom, I have learned a few vitial things to remember the rest of my life.
1. Your credit does matter, take care of it, fix it and don't take it for granted
2. Moving in with your parents is a good thing if that is the only option. Long term is bad news
3. While living in your parents house you will no longer have control of your children, or your sex life. Lets just say the moment my mom left last night my husband was all over me. I must admit it was nice to know that he still cares. LOL
4. NEVER ever give up. No matter how dark that tunnel looks, or how long it seems, you will see the light, and you will emerge on the other side. Believe in yourself and stand tall.
THANK GOD I FINALLY HAVE A HOME TO RAISE MY CHILDREN IN!
