I am stunned to hear over and over again that parents are turning to thier kids for fame and fortune. Acting, modeling and pageants are not about money to be made and bright lights. The entertainment industry is a wondeful learning experience, just as theater is, for kids to bring out their talents, abilities, unique qualities and personality. It can build self esteem, public speaking skills and even ettiquette. This is the life changing stuff that is so overlooked. This is the importance of arts education. This is what all kids need to succeed in college, business and relationships. Why do parents not notice these benefits, but think that learing gymnastics, baseball, and cheerleading are the only ways?

If people were just realistic and realized that their kids can make some money by going to many auditions and not giving up, by trying really hard and learning all they can. It can take 10 years for a talent to be successful, but the benefits of being involved can be seen so much earlier.

We teach acting for TV and feature the kids on our TV series after they learn how to relate to the camera. Just like little theater, but for TV, it's education with a show at the end. Does this sound like a worthwhile, fun, educational activity? Can you imagine the benefits?

Auditions are coming up soon. Contact me Tracy Gray at pageantusainfo@aim.com if you would like to attend. No stage parents, please, only fun enthusiastic kids.
