I LOVE a good fight

I just realized this today.

Although there are definitely some that are better than others.

My epiphany came while watching Prince Caspian. Fights in movies...LOVE IT....

So here it is:

War movies (we're talking 'real' wars, like Vietnam, WWII, etc.) are 'okay'. I don't mind them. The fights are 'good'. I probably wouldn't turn away from one.

Movies that have mythical creatures fighting...AWESOME. Magic, werewolves, vampires, zombies, etc. All make for nice fight scenes. I like it. It really doesn't matter who is fighting, human vs human, human vs non-human, or non-human vs non-human. It's always good.

But (here is where the epiphany really comes in) the fights I like the best are from medieval times (Ok..not necessarily the 'times' but the WAYS of fighting). I am ALL for sword fights, catapults, bows/arrows, etc. FREAKING rocks! There is something so 'manly' about it. Maybe it's the sheer brutality, who knows. But I am so into it. Plus there is a ... 'hotness' to it.

So, if we take the fact that I am WAY into mythical creature fights and medieval fights, Prince Caspian is DEFINATELY in there. Lord of the Rings would def. be in this category, too. (LOVE Harry potter, but the medieval aspect just isn't there...)

I so know what you are talking about,  I will watch just about any medieval movie,   it is something about the men getting out there  and fighting hand to hand it's kinda a battle of the balls lol in a way a whos better and instead of using guns to do your fighting.   I can not wait for the new Harry Potter to come out.

Me either! I am so excited! A friend of mine REFUSED to watch the movies or read the books. Then she read twilight and wouldn't SHUT UP about it. SO I said...in fairness, you should at LEAST watch the HP movies, because they ARE good. And now...she wants to go to the theaters with me when the new HP comes out, HAHA!
