Symon's Mom says...Symon was a "great kid" -- a 7 year old who loved to work in the garden and who loved to draw.

In January of this year Symon passed away after being hit by a car on the way to his bus stop. Please take time to let his Mom know we care...that there is support here for her. http://www.cafemom.com/home/bgdvil

Symon was a Tissue Donor and gave sight to two people. In all he was able to help five people. Please consider being an Organ/Tissue Donor. Every day, about 77 people receive organ transplants. However, 19 people die each day waiting for transplants that can't take place because of the shortage of donated organs. You can sign up here to be an Organ/Tissue Donor. http://www.organdonor.gov/
The family would like to remind all parents that if there is NOT a "Bus Stop" sign for your child's bus...please request one. And, if your child has a Bus Stop that is across a street (busy or not)...legally the child can wait on YOUR side of the street until the Bus arrives (please check your state laws regarding this). Symon's Mom is hoping that no one will ever have to experience the tragedy they have in losing Symon.

I'm sorry. This is so sad. Thank you for the information about the bus stops.
