I can't get adobe flash player to load on fire fox

Any suggestions. Please help I am about ready to beat up my comp. I get as far as finsh button than it says I need to close firefox I do and it wont go any farther

My DH is a computer guy. He says to try downloading a copy of the installer from a site like the flash site or www.filehippo.com, and save it to a place you can remember like the desktop. Since you're having issues, restart the computer after it downloads and run the installer before opening firefox. Try going to a web site after it's done. The installer doesn't give a final "I'm finished" pop-up so when it's gone, it should work.
