Well who knew that my bi-coastal situation could (a) open up doors to professional oppportunities off my standard beaten path (b) convince my husband to resurrect his NY license (I AM ASTOUNDED) (c) make me feel utterly rejuvinated (it really does).
So back and forth to NY will replace any family trips this year and that's OK. Our home economy is tight and mini-jaunts for my husband will give him some well needed work breaks.
My son is off to his internship in China and packing alot of non-perishable food. he's also packing all kinds of respiratory meds since the smog is supposed to be the "respiratory devil incarnate." I'm told he may not see the sun for 9 weeks (that's why they have such beautiful skin). I got to torture each of my clients at least once while home so that's good!! More from the big apple.
