My tiff with the California's deficit...

 Well, just a bit of a vent for right now. I am venting but plan to do some major research tomorrow and write the rest of my rant. To start with, I am so sick of hearing how our state is so broke...like we didn't know this was coming? Our government thought it was ok to spend as if we had won the damn lottery, and have our politicians buy expensive cars, vacation homes, and ok ....ridiculous state jobs? Don't get me started on welfare. Screw Nixon for expanding the system for his own benefit in his political welfare (excuse the pun). It exists, and continues to exist because we allow it. It is only needed because we have allowed laziness and lack of motivation in not only our state, but our country. I know that sometimes people need help, and that I am ok with, but when it goes on for longer than...say 6 months, that is when I have a problem with it.

The money that is given to welfare recipients is beyond what this state has, and then you have to figure in the administration that is handing it out. My husband and I own our own business, and we pay our state taxes quarterly....lot's of it. We work our asses off, and to know that it goes to unnecessary welfare, and ridiculous state offices just plain old pisses me off. I have known state workers that admit openly  that their job is ridiculous and they think it is funny that they get paid to do...well, nothing. Not something that I would openly admit, even if it were true, but some do.

Our lovely governor passed a bill to double our vehicle registration. Ok, that is a problem for me, and many others. People can't even pay it now, not to mention their insurance. Our state/country is just pissing me off these days. Yes, I am venting, but it goes so much deeper than this. I guess that my signing of a large check for quarterly taxes this week got my goat, and then hearing some crap about new tax laws and such was just the icing on the cake. I will be back tomorrow to list some ridiculous state jobs and some of OUR ridiculous tactics to tackle the fucking deficit in this stupid freakin' state. YUP, I'm pissy about it!~

I can hardly pay my registration now.... who had the stupid idea to gouge us this way? My truck is already almost $300. I guess I need to set aside money months in advance to pay it... The whole idea is asinine as my dad would put it.

I am also peeved about the welfare system. I personally know a handful of people that indeed could work but don't because they are enjoying life on easy street. Makes me sick. Some people that deserve it (another friend, single mom, no child support) was refused, why? She says cause she's average white female.  Not my words... She was told she made too much but in reality made just what her apartment rent was, no room for car payment or bills, she was always borrowing to stay afloat. I give them grocery store gift cards every month to help them.

I'm shaking my head to this day...

There are SOOOOO many ways I could suggest to our darling Schwartzenegger to save some dang $$... Let's start with MediCal... did you know that when there are two people that have a child together yet are no longer in a relationship and one files for state aid that the other parent is automatically liable and must pay back to the state  for whatever cash the OTHER person recieves???? And the other parent is automatically ordered to pay for any medical offered though their work for the child... BUT... the parent that is on aid doesn't HAVE to use that medical insurance... they can just pick whatever Dr they want and both the other parent and the state will pay double!!  Sorry but if you are too lazy to get off your ass (not everyone is lazy and on welfare) but in our case she has never held a job and she is 28... the state doesn't even make them TRY!!!  Why should we have to pay for her incompitence???

sorry got off point, lmao... anyways my point is why should CA pay for something that is already being paid for?  That would save millions of dollars yearly!

WEll, I will tell you why. The extra money is paying for lavish trips for our politicians, ridiculous lunches, dinners, parties....etc. It is all so corrupt, and it makes me sick!
