Hawaii Island Slippers.....Aloha comfy sandals!

Oh my gosh.

I was NOT an expensive shoe buyer, I usually go for cute and cheap. Then on vacation one month ago I found the shoe every Mommy and Daddy in the whole wide world DESERVES!!! Read on..

That is precisely the reason I ended up taking the plunge and purchasing a pair of pricey sandals while I was on vacation! I was sick of having rubbed areas, blisters, sore spots etc. I needed relief and I needed it to last. I found this shoe display that first attracted me because the shoes looked like they came from a tropical exotic land...turned out they did. Hawaii! They were called "Island Slippers" and were supposedly handmade in, you guessed it, Hawaii. They were insanely expensive, like upwards of $60, and I really don't know what posessed me to try a pair on, but I did....and OHH! Now I knew why they were so costly; they were WORTH EVERY PENNY. I purchased the shoes immediately, all natural materials, exquisite quality, the kind of shoe that makes you feel like you are REALLY walking on a cloud. Each step is heaven, paradise even.

My shoes look classy and dressy, but they sell every type of shoe a gal could want minus stilletos and camo boots hehe. Each one is hand made in Hawaii, at the "Slipper Shack".  Well, after wearing them all around, I noticed they just got more and more comfy, almost loose in the strap area which was made of the softest leather I ave ever felt. Also, the brass ring on the front of my shoe made my skin react, because I am very sensitive to allergens and metals. Not their fault, of course but I decided two days ago to call the Mom and Pop place in Hawaii to ask them about this, and if perhaps I chose the wrong size hehe and if there was something I could do about the metal/brass. You are NEVER going to believe what happened next!

On the phone a pleasant and relaxed woman answered the phone. Not in a rush, perfectly warm and friendly, willing to patiently listen and wanting to help. She was just delightful. We discussed how the different sizes fit me when I bought them, strap comfort, insole and outersole length etc, she said she was going to make me a custom pair of slippers, with a special ring just for me in the shape of a flower in a metal that won't make me react, with straps from a size 8, which is smaller than the shoes I have now, but the same sole sizes as the 9 I bought. All this, handmade custom ordered will be made AND shipped to me COMPLIMENTARY, and I do not have to send back the other pair I have now. Can you believe this?

So, I bought the shoes of my dreams, comfort and style. They make shoes in all different styles and purposes, for Men and Women. They take care of you like you are their family, honest. And, they have the most amazingly comfy cloud walking shoes I have EVER felt. SOLD! I will buy these for myself and my family for as long  as I live =) Please consider doing the same...I really have a vested interest in keeping these guys around now that I myself cannot imagine life without them =)
