I would like to clarify something. I have never asked for donations for Kyle. The facebook (not commercial) website does have a charity but I do not ask any of you to donate to that cause. I had to choose a charity and that was the one I found that helped the developmentally disabled. But I am in no way soliciting donations. I even have it written on that page that I am not soliciting donations. It doesn't cost money to change the law and raise awareness to the injustice many of our developmentally disabled receive after they are abused. My only reason for asking people to visit the site is because for each member that joins (free of charge with no donations required) it makes the legislators stand up and take notice...my "cause" is to change the law to protect societies most innocent. Thank you. Each and every one of you have made a differnece and I will forever be appreciative! I did not choose to place this in the marketplace but I will have to allow the admins to place it where they think it is appropriate!

OK...so this Cause has taken off. We are being interviewed this Sunday at 11am. I am so excited to be able bring attention to this important cause!! At the same time I am a nervous wreck! I did well in the newspaper interview but TV is a whole different situation. Any advice? I am going to re-post my previous info about Kyle's Cause. Within 3 days we have reached over 800 members! Please help me get the word out so we can make sure that the legislators are forced to take notice. Pass the cause link on to any family and friends that you think would like to be a part of this. I actually received a letter from a lady that read the article and had went through something similar but was unsuccessful in getting the legislators to listen to her. She encouraged me not to give up. I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!!

I developed a Facebook Cause to raise awareness to this issue. I will be choosing several charities that the members recommend. There are so many charities for the disabled that are worthy of donations and help to raise awareness for these special kids/adults. If you are a Facebooker come and check this out. We have recruited over 800 members in less than 3 days. We will cause changes in the laws that protect our citizens with Developmental Disabilities!!!

What a horrible thing to have to go thru. But on the bright side you are getting a spotlight to bring things like this upfront. How wonderful of you to do this. You go mama!!!

Just be your self, you will do fine. You are a strong and intelligent woman...You have come a long way from utter despair not knowing what to do...to telling the world what happened....Cant wait to see the interview. I sent newspaper story all over the place, maybe this wont be your last time on TV.....
