Where you live/general location, type of home?
I live in a 2-story, 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home in beautiful Northern CA.  We bought the house 11 years ago and have been remodeling it ever since. 

 A short bio - about me statement.  I am a 44 years old.  I grew up in the San Francisco bay area.  I attended Catholic school from  elementary thru high school.  I meet my Hubby while we worked for the same company 400 miles apart.  We dated long distance for 2 years. 

 Interests and/or hobbies. I love to read and do needlework.  I want to quilt but I need to wait until the kids are older.  

Kids - genders and ages - names? DD - Serenity Tate is 8.  DS - Alexander Jackson is 5.  Both of my kids have Fragile X Syndrome.

Relationship status Married -  We got married on the same day that we had our very first date.  Dated for 2, lived together for 3 and married for 12.  For a total of 17 years.

Wahm, Wohm or Sahm. - what type of work? SAHM for now.  I am planning on going back to work in the fall when Alex starts first grade.  I will have been at home for 9 years.  I worked for 18 years before I became a SAHM.

How did you find Cafemom? A friend from another site for moms.

What's your favorite thing or feature at Cafemom? CHB of course!

Whats your favorite thing about CHB? I am comfortable.  I can be me and don't feel stupid or afraid to post. 

Who is your favorite person on CHB? Wow. I like so many people for so many different reasons, I don't think I can answer with just one.

What is your favorite game played at CHB? Last poster wins.

What's your favorite thing about being a parent? Following my mommy instincts and being proven right.

What has been your biggest parenting challenge? The noise aka screaming, whining and fussing.  It.really.bothers.me.

 What's the best parenting advice you've ever gotten from someone? Enjoy them because they grow up so fast.

 How does your family deal with your Cafemom addiction? Like they have a choice?  Hahahaha!

Who on CHB makes you LOL for real? Lots of people.  Right at this very moment it's Ms.Adventure.  She is kooky and I like her.

If you could have a weekend to yourself what would you do? I would not cook a damn thing and watch TV without being interrupted.

What are 3 three flaws you see in yourself? Weight, stubborn and argumentative.

What are 3 of your top qualities? Compassionate, optimistic and very organized.

Are you happy in your place in life? Yes, I love being a mommy.

Are you a glass half empty person or glass half full? Half full.

Were you named after someone? A stupid song but not a person.

When was the last time you cried? Last week.

Do you use sarcasm a lot? Sometimes, if the mood strikes me.

Are you a risk taker (bungee jump, parachute, etc)? Hell no!

What is your favorite cereal? Apple Jacks

If you were a crayon what color would you be? Green

Mountain hideaway or beach house? Mountain hideaway.

What color is your hair? Is that your natural color? Dark brown with little bits of gray creeping in.

What book are you reading now? I'm not. 

Summer or winter? Winter - I loathe hot weather.

Favorite dessert? Cherry cheesecake.

Who do you miss the most? My girlfriends who have all moved away.

What is the first thing you notice about other people? Their teeth for some strange reason.

Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? No, but I very rarely wear "real" shoes.  Usually, I am in flip flops or slippers.

Anything else you want to add? Not at this time.
