Nothing will ever top my trip to Alaska.
I went when I was in 6th grade after doing a report on it.
It was my favorite state && still is.
We went to a hippie festival, stayed in a gorgeous log cabin with a field of wild flowers around it, took a ski lift up to the top of a mountain, took a cruise out to see glaciers, went to an Alaskan zoo, && saw some friends that moved up there a while back.
It is the most gorgeous place I've ever been.
When I'm old, I'd love to retire there && write novels in a log cabin.
Hopefully one day, I can take my son there.
He would love it.
I think the city we went to was called Eagle River, but we also visited Gridwood.
It was summertime when we went, so it stayed light outside most all night.
I'd love to check it out in the winter.

Any Alaska moms out there want to share some of their thoughts on the state?
I'd really love to here what you have to say.

I've never been to Alaska, but always have wanted to go. My hubs lived there for a few months when he was younger. He says it's awesome.
