first ob appointment

My first ob appointment is schedule for tomorrow morning and I am six weeks and three days.  I am kind of anxious about it.  How will they check the baby's heartbeat by doppler or ultrasound. When did you hear your baby's heartbeat and by what?

By doppler. I heard it about 10 weeks or so. The reason it was later than normal is because I switched OB's. The first one I seen I didn't like and then 2nd was booked up for a month.
