My Favorite Name

I think myself incredibly blessed, privileged and honored because I get to be called "Mama"! 

My little one comes up to me with a big smile and says "Mama!"  and I say "You're right!  I am your Mama!"  It's amazing how such a small word can make me feel ontop of the world when my little one says it.  I'm humbled by the fact that God chose me to be a Mama, but I'm also tremendously happy to have my little one.

He's a real joy and lots of fun.  He's also funny and we love to laugh together.  He's so adorable I can't believe it.  God made him perfectly. 

I'm reminded of Psalm 139:  "I knit you in your mother's womb."  Ever since I was pregnant I've really liked that image.  The idea that God's hands puts everything together really put me in awe of the whole thing.

I know that not everyone believes in God, but I can imagine any Mother who loves her children looks at them thinking "Wow."  At least once.  I do it often!

Anyway, I just felt I had to say it!  God bless to all you Mamas!
