First i would like to thank all of you beauty queens that helped me and took the time to think of a name that would ring a bell for my clothing store....

A dear friend of mine was up late ast night helping me til we came up with something we think is good... we happen to like it and so does my dh...

here it is....:

Fatooms Way ( to lower prices)

Slogan:

Come on down to Fatooms Way, Where you will find Name Brands for a low, low price. 

And you will love our way !

OOOo my, now that I put it and read it like 10 times it sounds corny.....

What do ya think?

To be honest it sounds like a store that sells fat clothes.  That is what I thought of when I read the name.

who is fattoom? why choose this name?

I think it is  a really long distracting name. sorry. you need something short and catchy . at the same time memorable.

like  Affordable fashions: name brands for less

or : last destination: name brands for less ( or brand names for less)

or: The Bargain shop: name brands for less

or  Maisah's: Quality fashion at close out prices.

Maisah's Corner, Maisah's Fashions...etc.

it would also help if you have a list of some of the brand names or name brands LOL on the front window.

 Plus, having the words ON SALE, or Clearance items, or Close out prices..etc. on a banner would bring a LOT of customers in. let's face it. every one is looking for  a bargain.

Sorry to be on the negatives too !!!!!!!!!!! I think proud2b is right , i'm not keen on it either,

I did like second chance, but i would check its not taken cos it sounds very familiar, and theres a store named Last chance just near us. so its an obvious choice for a business on your theme.

i would go for something as Proud says that indicates what its about. I would go for something like the bargain cave, the house of bargains. etc. bargains cos that will attract custom, and cave / house cos it sounds a little more jazzy than The Bargain Shop lol. which is ideal if not so plain and unexciting lol.

oh (broad grin) , The Bottem and Top LIne Bargain Cave . Head to foot in great clothes at little prices. Cost price style. Well you did say end of line clothing !!!!!!!! lol,lol,lol, Ok i'll be serious . I'll put my thinking cap on . !!!

OM Goodness... beauty queens you all are a mess... I knew it was corny..... I was trying for 4 days and got nothing.... so I used our last name (Fatoom) and Way .... like come down our way and get grat low Prices.....

Oooo Well....

Ty beauty queens... I will def be considering one of prouds names.... ty beauty queens for all of your input....lol, lol and honesty.... love it!

I hope you've decided "No" on FATooms. While it may be a great last name :-) it isn't a good store name. proud2bmom3 GREAT ideas!! Good Luck!!
