        We are preparing for our 5TH Annual

       Sonoma County Down Syndrome 

                        

                      

                 September 26, 2009

 

The Buddy Walk brings the community together and renews the financial support we need to do our events throughout the year. We are an affiliate of the National Down Syndrome Society, managed entirely by volunteers. We are working hard to assist genetic counselors and new parents as they first hear news about Down syndrome during pregnancy, after the birth of their child, and throughout life.

Your slideshow  was wonderful.  If only all the new DS Mommy's could have a chance to watch it, they could see what a blessing our children really are. Gloria Jr. is leading a better life than most children without a disability. She is beautiful. You have done a magnificant job raising her. You should be proud.

Your slideshow was absolutely beautiful Gloria. Bless your beautiful heart and spirit for being such an involved parent. The happiness exudes from both of you. May God continue to bless all that you do!!! It says the walk isn't until Sept., how long do you have until you need the money you're trying to raise? I'm going to write your address thing down, and try to help you when I have a few extra dollars k. I can't help but support your great cause. My son has ADHD & Aspergers, but I won't even pretend to know or understand the struggles of DS.
