So I'm out for my morning run/walk today and I'm hooked up to my radio to pass the time... Well, the radio host is a woman who says she is deathly afraid of snakes. I'm like... yeah, so? She says, "Do you all want to hear a freaky, bizarre snake story? I don't know if I should tell you all because it is toooooo crazy!" I'm thinking, "yeah, yeah, just tell us already". So, cut to commercial and back she comes with THIS true story. Apparently her relative comes over to her house, (the host), to console the family because they just had to put down their family dog and they were feeling sad. The relative says, "Do you want to hear a freaky snake story to take your mind off your sadness?" The host is like, "eek, a snake story". okay. So the relative says that she had a friend that had a python as a pet. This girl had the snake for a while and LOVED her python. Loved it so much that she slept with it! Well, apparently her snake stopped eating and so after a week of this she takes it to the vet. The Dr. looks it all over and says that really the snake seems find and asks if she has noticed any other strange symptoms or behavior. She says, not really other than the crazy snake has been stretching itself out so much each night when she takes it to bed that he seems to take up the whole length of the bed. The Dr. becomes serious suddenly and says, "We need to put your snake down", (as in, put it to sleep), She asks why and the Dr. says because he has figured out why the snake is not eating. The snake is preparing to eat HER! He is stretching itself out each night to see if SHE WILL FIT! A python never eats anything that is too big apparently. That is why it has not been eating!!! Trying to make room FOR HER!!!! ugh. I am a visual thinker and that story truly freaked me out. How about you? This story will be a guaranteed attention grabber at your next get together. lol.
