Luke Edward was born on June 3rd.  My husband's mother passed on April 3rd so I'm thinking this is a good sign that she was with us.  The delivery was interesting.  I was already a week overdue so due to my age and condition I was scheduled for induction.  The induction was unsuccessful  - although I did dilate, he just was not in position.  I ended up with a c-section, but it was worth it to have him here with us now.  He is a precious little thing.  Breastfeeding did not work for us, he wouldn't latch and was not thriving no matter how many techniques we tried at the hospital, they didn't work at home.  I'm happy he's thriving on the formula, he's almost back to his birth weight.  I still can't believe what a miracle he is.  No pics - I don't feel comfortable putting him online :)  Now it's just trying to get caught up on sleep and other matters!!!
