I just sat down and started part of my rebuttal to the speech therapists evaluation dated February 25, 2009. I noticed in her report she stated Gunner knew and used 20 signs. She also stated that me and Dave stated that to her... I believe we said at least 30 to 40. After reading that, I realized her math and our math didn't equal. I then started to write down every single sign I have ever seen him use and was amazed that he was up to 108 signs. So basically in 3 and a half months, Gunner has learned at least 88 more signs that he knows and recognizes. I cannot take all the credit because he had the most wonderful and caring teacher last year. I guess all those flash cards and signing time movies were not only helping him but also helping us learn.
