My favorite flower

Is the Calla Lily. Yes I know it typically represents death but I find it to be elegant and simple which are key to being seen as beautiful in my eyes.

hahaaa, I love the calla lilly!!  It was actually one of the flowers in my wedding!  HAAHA, I had NO idea it represented death, wow....

I too carried (silk) calla lilies in my wedding- and wore them in my ears... had noooo idea they were doom and gloom flowers... Their elegance appealed to me..

I like them too. Just the fact someone decided out of the blue to have them represent death is enough for me to take their side. lol It's like Opals. Everyone thinks it's bad luck if you wear them unless it's your birthstone. Ha! It's just bad luck if you can't afford to wear them! Fact is Australia started that myth when they discovered they had a lot of opals but they weren't worth much back then. As soon as they started this story the price went way up. So I wonder who started the thing about the poor Calla Lilly? Hahahaha!!!
