Oh and Murder...
Good news in the case of the husband that hired a rapist through Craigslist. This case has been widely publicized, and authorities have been searching for the rapist since the husband was arrested in early June. Now, AOL News reports that a man suspected
to be the rapist has been arrested.
Kannapolis authorities, with the help of Craigslist, arrested 39 year old Rodney Liverman Sr. on Friday, and charged him with first-degree rape, and three other sex related offenses. Liverman is being held on a $ 250,000 bond. His first court appearance has been scheduled for Monday. It is not known if Liverman has hired an attorney at this point.
Just weeks ago, a North Carolina man was apprehended and accused of using Craigslist to hire a man to rape his wife. The name of the husband is being withheld to protect the identity of his wife, who is also the rape victim. The husband faces first-degree rape and other charges, and is being held on $ 200,000 bond. Records show the husband declined the services of a public defender at his first hearing, and another has been rescheduled for June 30, 2009.
New details of the rape have been released, painting a picture of just how little the husband did to try to stop the attack. According to AOL News, the husband was in the room and watched the attack as it occurred. At one point, the victim was able to grab a knife, and tossed it to her husband. The victim stated that the husband did nothing to stop the attack. According to authorities, once the attacker left, the husband had his wife take a shower and advised her not to call 911 for assistance.
Although Craigslist has been criticized for its "erotic service" postings, and was involved in the circumstances surrounding the "Craigslist Killer", Craigslist worked closely with authorities in this case to locate the suspect, Rodney Liverman Sr. Craigslist has taken additional steps in cleaning up their online classified based website by removing the controversial "erotic service" postings.

voicing it and then having it done is two different things. Like I find lesbian porn interesting for some odd reason. But I would never want to do it. And I have told my husband such.
The woman even said she threw her husband a knife to get the guy off of her. And he refused to do anything.
Oh and I want to point out that if she thought it was sexy. Why not have her own husband play it out? Role playing is ok.
Why would she throw the knife to her husband if she were able to reach it?
I dunno. Especially consider the episode of SVU was on just a couple weeks ago, I'm betting that's where this idea came from.
And for a rape fantasty, her husband wouldn't necessarily fulfill it. *shrug*
I don't watch tv really. I stopped watching Castle some time ago.
If this is fake and they planned it and she likes it... they are going to bring a bad light to women who are going through real situations who need real help.
All I can think about is what I do for other women. Help them through horrible situations. I have met many men who would be willing to do that to their wives. But then again I have lived in government housing and seen some horrible things. Jaded if you will. Like my friend who was taken from her mother because she was being sold for sex favors at five for drugs. So we can't tell if it is real or not but I bet he is that messed up.

*shrug* I'm not going to pass judgement. It's quite possible the woman had a rape fetish, had seen the recent episode of L&O: SVU and thought that something like that actually sounded sexy to her, and voiced that to her husband.
