A journey through my mind

Honestly....it pushes me so close to that edge...ya know...the one that none of us want to go over...that if a feather touched me, I would go falling over.

Every single freaking thing I do in this world (okay maybe not everything, but most things) are done SPECIFICALLY for my son, and our life. I budget and pinch pennies, just so we don't have 'worries' when it comes to money. But when I have to keep buying new things because he just can't keep his freaking hands to himself...EW.

I bought a NEW mattress cover on SUNDAY...that's right....TWO DAYS AGO. Today during naptime, he ripped it off. And it is a plastic one, (ya know..so no pee gets on the mattress) so it is COMPLETLEY useless now.

I just need to talk abou this...because I am sooooooooo angry. SO angry.

If I thought it would be useful or not harm my kid in some bizarre way, I would go upstairs and remove EVERYTHING from his room. And by that I mean...he would be sleeping ON THE FLOOR with a blanket....and that would be all that would be in his room. Because there is always SOMETHING that he destroys when he doesnt nap...or doesnt nap as soon as I put him down.

Oh hell...what does it matter. It's just money and I might as well face the fact that I have at least 16 more years of destruction ahead of me. But I can tell you one thing...when he can REALLY understand...I will destroy something of his, for every single thing of mine/ours that he destroys on purpose.

poor girl,

i am so sorry. i understand completely. i have to ofem. and their girls! they fight and destroy like boys. ive thought about the same thing. taking all their stuff away. but one good thing is. when he destroys something, dont replace. especially if its his. the bed cover is kinda important i get that one. i know how it feels to have them get into or destroy something every time your back is turned, lol. but seriously. he should get the hint. my kids think if they destroy something ill just go out and buy them a new one. wrong! lol
