Well, I am now one day shy from being 26 weeks!  I got my cerclage during my 19 week and was so worried about making it to my 24 week and here I am now pressing on passed that!

Of course I am wanting to make it way closer to my due date but after losing Payton last year, at 20 weeks, where she had NO chance of survivial and to know if she would have been born a few weeks later she would have at least had a 50-60% chance of survivial makes a big difference to me.  So making it passed the 24th week, that was a huge milestone!

I am so thankful that everything is going so good. KNOCK ON WOOD!  I have had no complications since the cerclage.  No bleeding, no cramping, etc.  I have had a few contractions here and there but nothing that frequent, on going, or strong.  I sometimes feel some pressure but they say that is normal cause the baby is so low.  Nicholas is so low that when they find his heartbeat is barely above my pubic line or right on it most of the time.  Isaiah, my 3 year old ended up being that low and he got squished! LOL  He had a very badly bruised face, black eyes, which made his eyes swollen shut for about a week.  Hes bruising was so bad he had to stay in the NICU for 6 days, starting when he was 1 day old, cause the bruising was causing jaundice so bad.  So, I just pray Nicholas doesnt have to go through that! Which just might be the inevitable.

Other than Nicholas being so low though I am experiencing no other problems. Doctors seem to think everything is going great!  Its such a huge weight off my shoulders now to know that "if" Nicholas was to be born he would have a 80-90% chance of survival!  Again, I really want to carry to at least 36 weeks but its just so scarey after losing a child due to preterm birth.  You think of everything and wonder about everything.  You think "more" of the IF'S than you do anything.  If this, if that, etc..

I go back to the doctor again next Tuesday, then we are scheduling all the test for my 28th week.  The glucose, all the blood test, etc..  Initial stuff they do at 28 weeks.  So that should be "fun". LOL  Taking 6-7 viles of blood cant wait!

I am just so relieved that everything is going so well and I am having no complications or problems.  Nicholas moves alot to let me know hes there and OK which makes me reassured during the day.  Being so low though sometimes scares me cause he kicks right at the crotch! LOL  I go to thinking he might break my water, he might kick my stitches, etc. More of those what if's I guess cause I go to thinking what if he does?! LOL

I just cant believe time has went by this fast.  I was so scared when I was 19 weeks and that was almost 7 weeks ago!  Sure doesnt seem that long!  But I am glad time is sure going by faster than I thought it would!
