When did we get lazy?

I dont understand this world as a consumer.  Things are made way too easy.  We have vacuums that do the work for us, shower spray that allows us to not have to scrub the shower, and no scrub toilet cleaner. The list goes on and on. I myself want to (not like) do all that work, that way I know its done right.  That is why dont ask my husband to do much, because he is just not going to do it they way I like it.  But are we so busy that we cant do any of these things on our own?

I could not agree with you more. The texting and twittering and internet on the cell phones is still cracking me up. Just because it is a "new age" way of doing things does not mean it is better.

I agree, The world now is all about how easy and convenient everything is. Seriously, we have machines that walk for us so we don't have to (Segways) I would rather do things the hard way then the easy way.

OMG its so funny I read your post, I just got back in the house from hanging my clothes out on the line, Gosh they smell so good when there dried out there.  Lets face it the cost of these "Easier to do things" appliances are a bit ridiculious.

ahhh you have no idea!! LOL there are things i do like. i like the toilet scrubbers that are disposable. yupper. but i prefer to wash my own shower, i prefer to dry clothes on the line if i have time. i use a lot of vinegar and bleach to clean with. we have become a convenience socitey for sure.
