My brother in law is an idiot (is that a slur now too?)

I apparently do not know what is a slur and what isn't anymore, so I am re-writing this journal.

I just can't stand this family. BIL refused a breathalyzer last night, getting charged with an OUI, is in the coast guard, and just an idiot.

Why? Because his dad drinks and drives all the time, ever since they were little.

Alex thinks it's fine after a few beers too.

This is ridiculous. The last week has made me consider just leaving him. I am just pissed off, tired, and annoyed. He has been drinking a lot more, going out, going golf, etc, and just no care for me and my feelings/needs. :(

I wont rewrite the whole journal because it was too long... but I am just fucking sick and tired of everything. I need a break and a husband who is mature.

(((Hugs))) I'm sorry mama. If it makes you feel *any* better, they usually mature a bit as they get older, and the longer you've been married. There were times that I wondered what the hell I had gotten myself into as well.  :-/

thanks. I made an attempt to talk tonight but as usual, I got no where. I did tell him that I need him to go a few weeks without drinking because I don't like it at all and it needs to stay with only on the weekends.. he understood. Sometimes I feel like I just nag, but I am really hurt.

Nagging about drinking is 100% necessary. It has the potential to rip apart your family. Tell Alex to pull his head out of his ass and grow up, he has a wife and 2 daughters to take care of. Good luck.

I agree with Birthkeeper. That's why I married an older man :)

Hopefully he'll grow up sooner rather than later! Glad he seemed to understand about the need to not drink so much, though!
