Bob, who is my extremely moody, love-of-my-life, was getting ready to leave for work this morning and he was running-late as usual.
I'd like to say that the last thing I said out-loud today was "I love you, Baby" but it ending-up being, "you had better hurry-up and forget the headphones or you'll be late. I'll bring them to you at lunch." Doesn't it sound like I'm talking about a kid of mine??!
LoL I think it does at least!
My love works in the Fiberglass industry and likes to put headphones into his earmuffs and listen to music while fabricating parts.
Last night he remembered to charge his MP3 player but lost his headphone pieces...how does he do it??!
This is routine for us.
He runs late, making messes as he scampers through the house.
Him leaving behind him a trail of clothing he's thrown off his body on the way to the bathroom (I'm NOT exaggerating for humor this-time either) to take his shower and me following picking it all up.
Then he stomps through the house while on his quest to find items he needs for the day. He's looking for his checkbook, wallet and All-Important Keys.
Mondays are the worst because he has to try and get ready on-time AND get the garbage out-the-door for pick-up. I know he can't do all these things on his own without some help...it's just not in him.
So I, being the loving wife I am, try and get all his items together.
This being, of course, if I don't have severe back pain cramping me up.
Also, it depends on how His Mood is on that particular morning.
If he's treating me with love and respect then I'll reflect it back and be a happy, willing wife, doting on her husband. :)
That's how I roll!
Comments:
I have tried repeatedly to go on strike but I get sucked backed into picking-up things because it seems that nobody "notices" the stuff still laying on the floor! lol
The clothes and candy wrappers (Bobs!) and other garbage stayed on the floor one time for a week and a half...finally I gave-in.
I swear I live with pigs! :D
What does he say if you ask him to help pick up after himself? My ex figured that was my job and that my daughter and son were there to wait on him also. Mind you this included picking up and waiting on his 3 kids when they were visiting us also.

Nope... I didn't put up with my exH leaving clothing on the floor. I told him I wasn' t his mom and took care of that habit the first year of marriage. I left the clothes on the floor and picked up my own stuff. But we didn't have kids at that time. Your hubby is a lucky man to have you!
