If my dh and I can stick to the budget we will be out of the hole by Sept. but i don't know if we can. We have a hard time sticking to one. We've tried before several times and got a big F. Can anyone help me. Give me some tips or advice that can help? PLEASE I need Help.

The toughest thing in making a budget is accounting for all the little things that come up,  the things that aren't monthly bills.  Like a b-day present for a kids friend (that can eat up 30-40 bucks!), medical co-pays, eating out, etc.  You really need to budget for those things as well as the normal stuff.  If you KNOW it is likely someone will need a haircut, or new clothes, or camp dues---make flexibility in your budget for those things.  Otherwise,  you are doomed to fail before you even begin. 

So....budget for those things,  and some random spending cash (even if only 5 dollars a week) so you don't go crazy.
