Inspiration can come from anywhere at anytime. You know when inspiration strikes because you feel it deep within your belly. An exciting new idea "pops" suddenly into your head and your heart races with anticipation. At other times, you will feel yourself being drawn to someone or something without knowing the exact reason why; you are simply inspired to connect with them.

The word inspiration comes from Latin roots meaning divine guidance from God. It also is defined as to breathe in. Perhaps that is why many people find inspiration when they are meditating with a focus on their breath, or when they are at the oceanside breathing in the bounty and magnificence of nature.

The real key to inspiration is to allow it into your life completely and follow its' lead. You may have experienced moments of inspiration that you let pass you by, because you were already on another path, or because the inspire d thought was "off center" or "a bit unreasonable" or "too incredible to imagine", or because you couldn't figure "how" to make it happen. Here's the deal; when inspiration strikes, go with it.

There is a reason the inspiration came when it did, and a reason that it came to you and not someone else. Inspiration is a divine gift. Breathe it in and go with it. Now, that’s Powerful!
