I love documentaries. Whether i believe in it or not, they are so insightful as to how others live their lives you know..
Most recent one Ive seen is Religulous. Bill Maher is going around asking different priests and such from different religions about their God. Most of it is towards Christians. He just questions their faith and asking questions about how is this stuff possible kinda thing and really it just boils down to faith and belief.
Anyway.. He said something that I can not get out of my head.. To some truckers in a truckers chapel....
"Thanks for being Christ-like and not just Christian."
Wow. I think this line alone packs so much punch. You would think that being Christian IS being Christ-like but i really believe that for the majority of Christians it is not.
Have you seen this film? If not, what are do you think about Christians? What do you think about these pastors, priests, preachers whatever you call them, calling themselves a prophet and living the life that Christ wants them to all in all being consumed with luxuries that most of their congregation could not even afford?
What does being Christ-like mean to you if you are a Christian?
