I'm PISSED........I told Bennie (live in SO) what daycare would cost months ago and while he did say it would be tight he NEVER said he couldn't do it. So we paid the down payment ($600) and Noah started daycare this week.

I get to work this morning and there is an email from him saying that we "must have gotten our wires crossed" cause there is no way that he can pay $600 a week for daycare. He just doesn't make enough. Wires crossed, my ass!!!!!! We talked about this already. Very clearly. He is stupid most of the time so I make sure I spell out this kind of thing in plain English but of course now he simply says I didn't understand it that way.

 HELL YEAH $1200 a month for day care is expensive, its more than our rent but there isn't any other option. I make too much money to get any state assistance and SO applied but because he took to damn long to fill out the paper work we got put on the waiting list.  For years he has complained that he doesn't make enough, wants to be able to help out more financially, blah blah blah but he never does anything to change his current situation. He has worked 2 jobs in the past but has always done something to get fired.

 So what the Hell am I going to do???? I did the math yesterday and after paying my portion of day care I had $6.77 left from my check. ...and now I'm suppose to pay his half too!!! $1200, How am I suppose to do that!?!?! There is no way. What am I going to do?? Plus my doc copay etc. that keep me a functioning human being. I guess I will be looking for a second job but honestly that is going to cause more problems than it will solve. My body can't handle that and if I get sick and lose my full time job then we are all screwed.

Its $300 a week (I get paid biweekly so its $600 per pay check) and thats average here in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

So sorry hon.  I hope you guys can figure something out.  You know if we lived closer I would watch lil Noah for you...I know that doesn't help at all, but still.  Can your mom help with caring for him during the day or does she work?

THANKS! :-) no she works but she is offering to help financially. Im so embarrassed to say i may have to take her up on it. :-(

Don't be embarrassed hon.  We all need help from time to time.  Is BF gonna look for a better job?  I had to borrow money from my Grandma last year to help with Caleb's surgery and I was so embarrassed, but he needed the surgery and we had to pay our portion up front and couldn't.  Not to mention they told us we would have to pay our portion only a week before the surgery and it was gonna be $2700...needless to say we couldn't come up with the money....She was more than glad to help and I am paying her back...slowly, but still I am paying her back.  IMO...that is what family is there for...to help us when we need it...and usually they do that without judgement or anything like that.
