My son had been complaining that his left eye was bothering him since Sunday.  Of course I cared that he was bothered by it, but I thought nothing was wrong!  Last night he was still complaining about his eye and he said he couldn't close it.  I decided I would take him in to see his Pediatrician the following day.  Just a few hours later he was talking to me and I noticed that the left side of his face wasn't moving!  I was scared and my heart was racing, but I didn't want to scare him.  I kept talking to him and reached over and tickled him.  His left side was totally motionless.

He went to the ER and spent HOURS there.  They took blood, did a cat scan...everything came back fine.  The ER Physician diagnosed him with Bell's Palsy.  It can come on suddenly, might be caused by a virus and can disappear as quickly as it showed up!  I'm being told it should clear up quickly.  I hope so.  Please keep my little guy in your thoughts and prayers.
