Own you own affiliate website, and earn commissions for generating sales, leads and/or clicks for various online merchants. These merchants are top notch companies with stellar reputations.

As an affiliate, I place links on my website that take visitors directly to the site of the individual merchant/store. Every time a shopper makes a purchase, provides information and/or clicks on a link, I earn money.

For example, there are credit card companies that will pay anywhere from $5 to $20 for each person that completes an application. If that application is approved, they might pay up to $55.  Most merchants pay anywhere between 5-20%, depending on the nature of the item. If you sell a big ticket item for say, $2,000 with a 10% commission, you will make $200.

Due to some day to day drama in my life that required my undivided attention, I have not been able to work on my site as much as I would have liked during the past year or so. Luckily, though, due to the nature of the business, even without devoting a lot of time to it, I have still been able to earn an income from it.
