The world has lost an entertainment legend today. Although he has become somewhat of hermit and led a very strange life the last 10 or so years, he will always be the King of Pop. He paved the way for so many and was such an inspiration. I LOVED him as a 10 year old in the early 80's. Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean. Oh, and let's not forget Rock With You. That is when he was really in his glory, such a sweet and cute guy. I had a poster of him in my room and even had earrings with his face on them! When I was in 5th grade, we danced to Billie Jean for our dance recital and wore silver and black sequined costumes with gloves and fringe. I even learned how do to the moonwalk, which I can still do to this day.
Even though he may have gone down a path that not many people understood in the last few years, he was and will always be an icon.
