Pick My Brain If You dare

Venture into my crazy life w/ 2 boys!

Ok, so I have seen post on here of women celebrating MJ's death and women violently defending him.I just want to say feel bad for his family, yes.I can't imagine the pain they are going through right now and how much their hearts must hurt. However there will be less children molested now and maybe his kids can get the help they probably need after living with him and being made to wear masks, sheets, dangled over balconies, dying their hair so they look white and blond, and many other things, they will probably need some serious counseling. He may have been the "king of pop" but that doesn't excuse everything else he has done. Yes, he was a good dancer but again talent doesn't make the horrendous things you've done any less horrible! I have a funny feeling that if it was YOUR CHILD who was harmed you wouldn't be so quick to be offended by women being "disrespectful to the dead". I was molested as a child ( at age 5) & it was by another kid ( who was also only 5) who had been molested by a adult man. So I have another view on this then some of you do. If it was anyone other then MJ that had dies who had molested or been accused of it & people weren't speaking kindly of him would you still be jumping to their defense? I doubt it. Granted only MJ, the kids, & God know what really happened but I think the evidence says he's guilty as sin. The way the boy was able to describe a mole on his private area and then all the sudden MJ gets it removed for "medical reasons" just sounds fishy to me. It also seems funny how he's getting more attention then the soldiers who have lost their lives protecting our country and other wonderful men and women who may not have been famous but have done so much for others...it just doesn't seem right. Just my little 'ol opinion...

I'm sorry for what happened to you. No one should ever have to deal with that....ever.

I strongly disagree.  He was found not guilty of child molestation and I have always believed it was a ploy for money (I journaled about it earlier today).

I find it very, very disheartening to hear another mother make the comment "I'm glad he's dead."

never been a michael jackson fan so it doesnt really bother me. i think its a little wrong about all the jokes being made about him now. who knows if he ever really molested those kids? my opinion, yes he did. but he was found not guilty. oh well.

i do think its wrong that everyone is glorifying him. what makes him omre special? and i agree with you. being an army wife, wheres the huge nationwide mourning for a soldier ho lost his life? there isn't any. sickens me

Again I will say this.. I am sorry he died. I am sorry for his family.. FOR ALL THE THINGS THEY FEEL.. BOTH SORROW AND PAIN.. BUT ALSO FOR THE WEIRD SAD HORRIBLE LIVES THEY LIVED.. IN THE WAKE OF A MAD MAN.

Yes I think he was guilty of molesting the one boy.. however the other one who showed up out of the wood work.. I think he was a copycat... just trying to get money... HOWEVER.. IF I WAS FALSELY ACCUSED.. OF SOMETHING THIS HORRIBLE... I WOULD NEVER EVER PAY THE PERSON.. I WOULD PROVE MY INNOCENCE OR DIE TRYING.. NEVER PAY THE PERSON.... IT MAKES YOU LOOK GUILTY.. AND ONLY A GUILTY PERSON HAS ANYTHING TO PAY PEOPLE TO SHUT UP ABOUT.

I AM SAD HE IS DEAD.. I AM PRAYING HE WAS SAVED.. AND OTHER THAN THAT.. HE WAS A SICK MAN.... NUFF SAID.

It saddens my heart that he was not saved.

JOHN 3:3

3In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.[a]"

Walking in the light

5This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[b] sin.

8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

Do Not Love the World

15Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever

I pray for his family in this sad time, yet I also pray it opens their eyes as well and their hearts change. I would take a house on THE  rock, than a house built on the sand...Michael Jacksson built his house on the sand!

those who die with the most toy's wins? But if he lost his soul doing it....what good is it in the end?

Shalom

I'm never "glad" anyone is dead...if only for the fact that there are no doubt some good people who were close to them who are now in considerable pain.

That said, I have no idea what MJ did or did not do to kids.  I do know that there are many now adults who spent tons of time with MJ when they were kids and swear that nothing happen and are still very close to him.  I also know that some kids said that he was inappropriate toward them.

It is obvious that he did have some issues.  It is not obvious if he was a child molester.  If you don't KNOW for a fact that anyone (not just MJ) has done such a horrible thing, then I think it is pretty crappy to make such presumptuous comments about them, especially after they have died.  (and I am not just talking about the op, but everyone else's journals/posts/etc that I have read.
