Damien the Actor/Model

Well, it's been an interesting month in this house! The boys are out of school, and Damien decided he wants to be an actor.
He was in a short film created by the STAR afterschool program. Ever since it was released to the students/parents, he has done nothing but talk about doing more. I always knew he was a ham, but wow. To top it off, he was in the STAR play presented at the end of the year. They're version of the Wizard of Oz. He was a Flying Monkey.
So tonight we went for his first interview at a talent agency. He was great. Really put on the charm. We get to go for a second interview next Friday. So now I have the great task of coming up with money for head shots, comp cards, and online portfolio. Wow! I hope it all works out for him. He really wants to do this and I will support him in his decisions. I just don't want him to be disappointed if it doesn't work out the way he wants.
