:) some time to myself for the first time in my life

the store is closed for the summer, my brother (who I raised when mom got sick) is long married, my mother is being tended, my mother in law's health is stabilized, my son is going to college classes, DH still on those long hours.....you guys this is the first time in my entire life I have time to myself....even as a child, my mother was ill so I was running the house at a young age with my neighbor looking in....

at first it was weird to have time to do whatever...... but you know what, it is fun....I can shop without feeling rushed, really look at the garden, read an entire book in one sitting, the little neighbor girl across the street or the older lady on the corner can talk to me as long as they want....

it's good!! it's funny too how you find out about yourself when you aren't serving others.....
