Recovery - Praise the Lord

Well I am recovering from a very serious ear infection that went down into the inner canal and then into my glands. A week on Praise the Lord the pain has subsided but not without the help of doctors, paramedics and nurses whom I spoke to on the telephone when things got so bad. My speech was affected. I couldn't do anything. Totally exhausted. I am still tired but can move around. I had to use some of my rent money to get to hospital there and back in a taxi because I live out in the country and have no car so today Praise the Lord 4 weeks later I paid the rent and boy it felt good and also some arrears the Grace of God never ceases to amaze me.

It was amazing too as I was and am still very tired still taking medication but my daughter is working so hard and money is zilch but I managed to find a few pounds to buy her favourite shampoo and face wipes because it is so hot and they are cooling. I also managed to walk the dog. I nearly came home half way through but I knew this rent just had to be paid today I could not delay it.

I said a quick prayer 'Lord get me up this hill' and yes also managed to find the last ten pounds for electric too!

I found myself singing coming home with my dog. So I not only paid the rent yes within the month a bit tight but I did it, paid some arrears off walk the dog buy some stuff to cheer my daughter up and then the last part of the journey home (all walking as I have no car) there was a beautiful cool breeze as it is so hot! The Lord knows how I hate the heat; love the sun but not the heat and the breeze kept me cool all the way down the hill to my flat. Yes it is lovely coming home as it is uphill all the way but I enjoy coming home because it seems so much more effortless.

So I believe all my quiet times early this morning in prayer the Lord knew and gave me strength to do what I had to do today, oh yes I even washed the pots too.

So even though my ears are not 100% I can say God is good all the time.
