The thoughts of the Lady Butterfly...

"Michael was more than an entertainer to me.  He was my childhood.  I remember listening to his "Off the Wall" album in my Godmother's basement and wishing I could meet him.  It is with this album I discovered my singing voice.  From there my mom put me in talent shows and I sang my lil heart out!   His Thriller album inspired me to really listen to technique and passion in music.

My young life was vivid and he made it even more colorful.  Michael Jackson will truly be missed.

What are your best (positive) memories of him?

Jun. 30, 2009 at 3:39 PM The night Thiller came on Omg! My aunties and cousins and my sisters and mom all got ready to watch. That was the best night of my life, I fell for him hard that night and everyday after that it was all about Mj, from my clothes to my hair and my room had him pasted all over the walls. I had so many buttons and those jackets lol, I had the beat it and the thiller, red jeans black jeans and of course the penny loafers and how dare I not mention my glove lol. He was the greatest and he should live on forever in my heart and in his music. R.I.P Michael Jackson
