So, my name is Noelle.  I am 16 and I am expecting my first child, a boy, September 14, 2009.  I don't know if it's the fact I delayed getting prenatal treatment until my 13th week of pregnancy or that I am so small in the torso and my little one is so big, but I keep having problems with prematurity.

June 8th, 2009 - I found some bloody show in my underwear.  Thinking I was miscarrying I rushed to the hospital.  They told me that my cervix was thinning out and that was parts of my mucous plug.  I was roughly 26 weeks and freaking out because I knew at 26 my baby's chances for survival was high, but we were going to be in for the long hall.  The doctor ordered strict bed rest, no moving except bathroom stuff.

June 21st, 2009 -  Since that day Max showed no signs of wanting to move and I had no more bloody show.  The doctor said my mucous plug was pretty much completely in tact and I was about 28 weeks.  So I was allowed to do whatever I wanted as long as it was not strenuous.

June 26th, 2009 -  I experiences some Braxton Hicks contractions which, with the prematurity threats, I thought was going to be it.  I ended up going to the doctor's all for nothing....or so I thought.

June 30th, 2009 -  I had irregular contractions ranging from every 15 minutes to every half an hour (one waited almost 45 minutes before blind siding me) and lasting anywhere from 15 seconds to 1 minute.  We checked into the hospital at 9:30 and had a ultrasound and fetal heartbeat done.  Everything was fine.  Then I got the shot to stop contractions and since then I have had about 6 contractions (it was almost 24 hours ago).

July 1, 2009 -  I am still here, in the hospital.  They have WiFi here.  They normally don't let me use it in the room, because of the machienery that it attached to me and monitoring Max .  So I have to go down to the Cafe or into the lobby here and click around.  It's really my only form of entertainment.  My mom and dad have work and kids, my boyfriend has work and having fun.  I have visitors about an hour at a time, etc.  Sometimes I sneak on if they won't see me and as long as the machienery beeps like normal I feel it's fine.

Max's new due date is July 20, 2009 where (if he hasn't come before hand) I will be induced and possibly (seeing how he grows) have a C - section.  I am a little woman and Max is a big baby and because of medical reasons threatening the both of us, they want him out ASAP.  Which would be 33 weeks on the dime.

congrats on the baby boy! im sorry that you have had such a rough pregnancy. im sure in the end everything will be ok and you and max will be happy and healthy! i have four children, so if you have any questions or just want someone to talk to...im here for you! keep us updated on you and max!

Thank you, yes I'm sure in the end it will be all worth it.  It's just so hard right now :)  I will be sure to keep you updated and thank you for your invitation to chat with :)  I appreciate it.

im sure it is~ my third pregnancy was rough. your welcome! i know its hard to be pregnant and then now you are in the hospital. but at least you being in the hospital means that you and max will be monitored and if something does go wrong you are right there.
