my friend had a baby yesterday. She was only 27wks and 3 days along. He weighed in at 2lbs and 9oz. He is a fighter. He is breathing on his own and has been since he was born. His name is sebastion and I would really love it if everyone would pray for him and pray that he will pull through this a perfect baby. His mom is 18 and she is so scared. To top it off she is in the hospital here where she dilivered him and they took the baby to the nearest childrens hospital which is 45miles away so she can't even see him.

Candy,

Tell your friend not to worry. We will all be praying for little Sebastion. When I was born at  24wks. I weighed 1lb. and 14oz. I too was breathing on my own and continued to get stronger. I stayed in the hospital for almost 3 months before I weighed 5 lbs. and could go home. My mother was at the hospital that I was born at, and I was rushed to another hospital with better equipment, the same as your friend. Honey that was 43 yrs. ago, and they have much better technology today. Tell her to be strong, and leave it up to God. He will take care of him. God bless you all.
