Gabe, my 20 month-old son, just went to E.R.  I am hysterical. Please pray if you do that sort of thing or cross your fingers for him? An old 50lb t.v. fell on top of his legs and belly (organs) and he was unable to walk when the ambulance took him away. I can't stop crying! THE SOUND of that t.v. CRASHING! OMG! It was on the FLOOR in the playroom. Dumb of me, I know. I never expected him to get pinned under it.

I am Praying For you Both Accidents Happen!

I am So sorry you both are going threw this! It was already On the floor. Not many parents would have thought  a 20 month old  could have  pulled that  over. Things happen . take the TV out  back and smash it to a billion  pieces . Trust me if anything it will help you stop blaming yourself & kicking yourself  in the  butt , At least for a little while keep us posted on your little one! Prayers & Hugs are Going Out!

I am so sorry. I feel for you. My FIL made my son's armoire. It is massive, solid cedar 7 ft tall. The one time I was away for a week, he pulled all the drawers out and climbed the thing to change the DVD on top of his 20 inch TV. Armoire, TV, DVD, three drawers, is came down on him. But OMG, his guarding angel was right there with him. The one time he didn't clean his room, saved him. There was this garage toy thing for all his hot wheels wedged in a way that kept the armoire a foot off the ground and slide the TV away from him. He crawled out, and told my husband not to be mad. My husband was white from fright, tried to hold back the urge to throw up, had tears in his eyes, and almost took my son to the emergency room, just to make sure nothing was broken. I get chills. . .

Needless to say, my FIL came the following week and anchored all my furniture to the studs in the walls.

I pray for your baby! Have faith, children bounce back so quickly, their young bodies can repair more than you think.

Keep up to date. . .

He is home now and sore and unable to walk without wobbling and limping and has bruises on his legs but I am relaxed and happy to have him home with no internal injuries and looking healthy. I cried half the night and slept poorly. It was really scary. Imagine something twice your body weight landing on you toes to belly button?! I was out of my head with worry. He's okay though. Very durable little boy! I love him so much!

I am praying for him.  Hubby heard about TV accidents before DS was born so all of ours are securely anchored!

I just read your update.  I am so glad he is ok!  My son did pull over our DVD tower on top of him once but thankfully it hit the wall and just rained DVDs on his head.  It´s amazing what these little guys can do!

My son had a dresser collaspe on him. He was watching tv in his room and I told him to turn it off. I thought he had a controller. He crawled on the top of the dresser and down it came. I couldn't move it! I was like "What happened to the mommy aredelaline I have heard about?' I was freaking out! I called dh at work and he told me to have ds sleep with me to watch him. Thankfully he wasn't hurt. But boy was i ever scared!

I hope everything is okay with your son! Hugs and prayers!
