July 4th ~ Plans?

Barbecue, family, good food and fun times. This is hopefully some of the things you will experience July 4th. I usually enjoy cooking a little bit and having a good time with my children. But guess what happened Father's day morning? Someone stole my barbecue pit. Man, I was very disappointed. I could not believe that someone did that. Then it begin to sink in that I could not barbecue on the 4th. Now that the 4th is in just a few days, I am kinda sad. I miss my pit. This is the first 4th that Angelena will actually realize what is going on. I am not sure what i am going to do. I am going to try and go see the fireworks. Working on the basement with the contractors and other workers has got me pretty busy. And I really want to make sure the money is there for me to buy a new one if I really want one. Um...I don't know.

I've got to expressed my thanks that the work in the basement is getting done. That is a blessing. Thank you Lord Jesus. I am trying to stay forcused on what is the most important. Though that is kind of hard when so much is coming at you.

I just wanted to check in with you all. It has been a while since I've journal-ed.

I hope you all are planning a good time with family this 4th. Memories is what really matters. Let us all try to make some great memories. That is my goal.

We are going to my dad's lake house for the weekend. :) Have a great 4th no matter what you do!

 We have no plans for the 4th, mainly because well I have been so busy that I totally forgot about the holiday.  We will be  watching fireworks on television and out our windows(the neighborhood). Enjoying each others company(oh my daughter Nyssa is home now) 

Glad to hear that your basement is done, that has been a long process I know.

Sorry about losing your BBQ pit! But I imagine anyway you cook it will be delicious! We took the 3 younger boys like always and Falyn this yr too for her 1st time to the Anderson 4th of July parade!They all had a blast and got a huge goodie bag full of stuff! Falyn especially liked the "suckers"! The 3 boys all got t-shirts and they all got  frisbee's, popcicles, water bottles and coupons for lazer tag and free icecream! The parade ended just before the rain started! PTL! Then we went home and had some friends over for a  cook "in" due to the rain! We had fun!
