Why?!

What is with all these reality shows? They are beyond ridiculous. I sit there listening to a bunch of women blabbering away at school about these "desperate" housewife and all I can think of is "Why? You guys look desperate enough. Can't you just film yourself with your friends and see the same thing?"

All this reality stuff and none of it is actuallty reality and well real. How many times do you see reality stars admit to being guided to act that way? Or some admit to a script.

Our obsession with drama is just beyond my comprehension. I don't understand it. The women in my school will even start something just to feel the drama. I am sorry but if you can have AA for alcohol then I think we can have Drama anon.

Most of the time when the girls start their stuff in class you for one get kicked out of the class which is a waste of 300 dollars a night. Then second I treat you like my child. I ignore you until you act better.

Now I do act like a big kid. I am right there with my son making sand castles, in the stores playing with the display of stuffed animals, making faces with my son, and even skipping in public with my friends.

But I grew past grade school, middle school, and high school. Those days are over for me and I want to grow to be a better person. And I feel like if you let drama in your life that you are refusing to grow. A little drama happens but then there are the ones who are addicted.

So I guess my TV is perminantly off and I won't be buying cable.

lol if people want real drama the college is full of it. And it costs as much as their cable bill lol.

I know I'm an "oldie" but when I was growing up the only drama on t.v. was Dragnet or Ozzie and Harriet... oh yes lets not foget the westerns.. Bonanza and Matt  Dillon... sigh,.... the good ole days.. Lucy got in all kinds of trouble...but it was funny, wholesome. Red Skelton, Perry Como....oh those times were so easy....wish they were here again.....

I watch one reality show....deadliest catch. (does that even qualify?? I dunno)  Other than that, the others can just go away.  I guess tv writers are out of ideas so they're just shoving cameras in people faces and calling it tv..

i agree! the only reality show i like is The biggest Loser. . .but those "real housewifes" show.s..yeah cause MOST housewives live like that *rolls eyes*
