I consider myself to be pretty low key and let things slide off my back.  Its the only way to exist with triplets running around.  It takes a lot for me to lose it and yesterday I almost did!!!

Yesterday was to say the least interesting.  When I called my best triplet momma friend at 7:30 last night to tell her my kids were already in bed, she knew I was at my wits end.  (my kids don't even think about bedtime until 8- 8:30ish

So long story short, I went to walmart with the girls and they were great.  We get home and I am unloading the groceries, when I hear Makenna saying Oh No, over and over.  I peak into the living room and see her pour murphys oil soap onto my computer.  I freaked.  My entire dissertation is on my computer and I hadn't backed up last month.  I had a wedding that I had shot on there also not backed up.   So I put the girls into the room and mopped up the soap as best I could and turned it on its side to dry... I downloaded all my documents onto my external harddrive and tried to remain calm.

In the time it took me to clean up the mess, they broke the door knob cover off the closet door, pulled out the craft box, and painted the carpet, walls, cribs with blue paint, playdough, a billion stickers.  I almost had a heartattack when I walked into the room.  Without thinking, I stripped them to their diapers and threw them into their cribs and zipped the tent up.  I needed some space betwee us while I cleaned.

At that point, I called Frank and told him to COME HOME or I was gonna end up in prison!  I called my mom about the computer and she came over with an extra external harddrive in case I needed it, so I told Frank to continue working.  Mom helped me clean up and kept the girls away from me.  I was so mad I could barely speak at that point.  Mad at the girls because they knew they were doing wrong.  Mad because I left the soap where they could get too it.  Mad because I hadn't backed up my computer.  ETC, ETC.

Luckily this moring the computer was still working, so I took it to the computer guys and they think they can save it (although the keyboard may be replaced.)

I know years from know I will laugh at this, but right now, I can't really laugh about it.

So I'll be hit and miss on the computer for a while (only while at nana's).

Back about a year ago I actually attempted a shower while my hubby was outside and the boys were in the living room.  I've never been able to shower when I'm home alone w/ them bc Zach is afraid when he can't get to me, and afraid of the noise the shower makes.  So while I'm in the shower they proceded to pick about a half dozen keys off the computer! Not just the keys, even the pieces that hold the keys on.  They bent them and chewed on them.  Some were not salvagable, while others were.  Boy did I learn my lesson.

Just know that we all have these days.  I'm having a very bad one myself, bad few weeks actually.  But I just hope it gets better soon.

Hugs.  Schedule a date n ight soon!d
