i was watching a show called 16 and pregnant. its on mtv and lastnight was the first time i watched it, i was hooked when i saw this girl named maci and her boyfirend were fighting about the baby responcibilties, im 25 and had my son when i was 23. my hsuband and i fought over this all the time, i wanted him to take more interest in his son, when he didnt know what do or how to be around him, (claiming he gets that from hsi father) i was so beside myself and didn't know how to do this on my own. our son is two now and hsi father is very much involved with him,
but thats not where i wanted to go in this post, i was more interested why it is so upsetting to ppl in this day and age for teens to be mothers? doesnt anyone read history or learn about it? back when they didnt live so long in life there were girls who were married off at 14-what ever age. they gave birth, became parents and this was "acceptible" but now its a horrible thing to get pregnant at 16. is it because we have a long life span or what? its jsut something i thought about. now i understand that the teens these days do have a choice in not having unprotected sex, btu still i dont see the big deal, you can still go out and get your GED... i dont know, its something i was thinking about today and thought i would get my thoughts out,
i would like to hear from others on this subject, everyone is going to have their own opions and i dont wnat any fights please... thanks

Mila Kunis' Weight Gain Is No Cause for Concern
Maybe people look at it differently b/c back then the young mother was most often married and would be taken care of by her husband. She wouldn't have had to look for a job, she would probably grow her own food, etc. It's probably a bit harder to raise a child as a teen now.
