Need potty training advice!!!

I started potty training my 2 1/2 yr old the 27 of May. She was going to the potty every time, never having any accidents. She stayed the day with my mother in law one day at the end of June, and when I got her home she wouldn't ever ask to use the potty again. She would just pee in her panties. And when I would tell her to come potty she would start crying. My mother in law stopped by yesterday and Avry came out of her room and said she peed in her panties. Well my mother-in-law started yell at her and saying that she would have spanked her for that at her house. So I am now starting to think that she is scared to go potty, that my mother-in-law might have spanked her for an accident when she stayed with her. So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how I can get her back on the potty. I have tried reward chats and Prizes for each time she goes potty. And nothing is working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry that happened with your MIL. ;( I hope your DD will start going again soon...I'm sure she will if you are just patient. Have you thought about letting her pick out some new undies? Ones that "you" aren't allowed to have accidents in? ;-) Maybe there are some tips here??
