SIL is PREGNANT & has BREAST CANCER!!

UPDATE:  SIL & Brother lost the baby last night.  :(  Please pray for their healing both her's physically and theirs emotionally.  The good news is that now they will be able to do her surgery/chemotherapy/radiation a lot sooner!  PRAISE GOD!

 

Update:  SIL has an appointment on Thursday at the cancer center.  The ob/gyn said that if she has to have chemo or radiation, then the baby will die.  I will let you know what happens....

What an awful situation.

 

Everyone, please PRAY!

My brother is 42 and for five years he and his wife have been trying to get pregnant.  (She is 2 other children, but this will be my brother's first child).  They were so excited to tell everyone last week that she was finally pregnant.  Then, this week she found out that she has breast cancer. 

We don't know all the details yet, but supposedly she is about 6-8 weeks pregnant.  The doctor said that she had the better of the two types of cancer...meaning if you have cancer, it was better to have the kind she has.  I don't really know what that means or what will happen to the pregnancy. 

SIL is being rather stoic right now (who would blame her??), but brother is just torn to pieces.  He just became a Christian last month (PRAISE GOD!), and they are turning to their faith to help them through this.  But, please pray for them.  We so want both SIL and little baby to live.  We don't want to lose either one of them.
