The world seems cruel in the face of pain.
A suffocation of silences.
When if we tried to speak
we would scream,
then we are silent.
When what we feel
fills our throat
then we are silent.
When what we should feel
is not what we do feel,
then we are silent.
When we don't feel
and we don't know how
then we are silent.
People die curled around their pain
unable to say what hurts.
We cannot find the words
to make it right.
Helpless to help,
we turn away.
Nothing much to say...
Thursday July 2, 2009 I saw Anna, in her new haircut. "Looking good" I told her. She said "Finally got into The Rose Shelter and ready to make a change to get my children back and get off the streets".
Knowing she just broke up her relationship with her boyfriend. She was going to try again to make it right. But she was carrying a bomb within. Angry with jealousy over Travis and other woman.
She drank to cover the pain along with some drugs on Thursday evening. Her so call friends where around her edging her on to drink and swallow the pills I am sure they were all laughing and having a grand time seeing her get drunk.
Anna rarely drinks!!!
And then she pasted out..
She began to vomit while on her back and as it came up it suffocated her. Her life was gone.
Her friends scattered to called 911.
Anna, your gone my sweet friend to be with Jesus. I will continue to bring the message of the gospel to the homeless out here in the streets of Santa Rosa. To bring hope to the homeless, comfort to the lonely, and salvation to the lost.
Your face will not easily be forgotten by many here at the soup kitchen parking lot.
May the loving arms of your Savior surround you Anna

Sister, praise God for His children, like you, who have a heart and calling for the homeless! That takes a special love and anointing and you have that. Thank you for the work you do for Him. Have a blessed, Jesus filled 4th of July and God Bless You!!

Heartbreaking how she died. but Anna is in paradise now.

Dear Glows, I am so sorry about your friend. I wanted you to know how much your songs and scriptuire ministered to me. I just sent my precious DADDY to HEAVEN last Friday. He is so much better off, but I do miss him so. I also celebrated my only child, my darling Son, Jason's second Anniversary in HEAVEN on June 25th. And then Daddy made his trip 2 years and one day later. The LORD is such precious comfort, though, and I pray that for you, my precious and beloved Sister in the LORD. Oh Gloria, I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your friend. I am so glad that she had you in her life. I have never met you, yet I feel like I have known you my whole life. You have changed me so much and I know that you did the same for her. She is at home now in Paradise.

Thank God you have been there for her. Her death is a tragedy, but because of you she knew the Lord before she left for home. She is truly in the Kingdom of Heaven with Lord Jesus, because of your Christlike qualities and your unconditional love.... Anna Celebrates a new ever lasting life.... AS PROMISED!!!
