Just because really.
--------------------
My son is too young for preschool (he's almost 18 months), so I do what I call Homeschool Pre-Preschool. LOL...nothing big but here's our non-schedule.
7:30/8:00 - we get up. Hugs and kisses. Diaper change. (Everyday)
Get up until 8:30 - Son plays in the living room while I watch som TODAY show to catch up on news.
8:30 or 9 - Breakfast. Yum. Clothes change. Teeth brush. (Everyday)
9 until 11:30 - Whatever time. Sometime we play or color. Or read (son LOVES to read). But whatever we do, I try to work in things like "Which one is blue?" "Can you point to the letter C?"
11:30 - TV Time. Word World.
12:00 - Lunch.
12:30 - Nap.
He normally sleeps until 3 or 3:30. Then snack time.
Then it's play learning until Daddy gets home at 5:30
Daddy and LO has another TV Time while I cook dinner.
6:00 - Dinner
After dinner until 7 - family playtime.
7 - bath. Then we read.
7:30 - bedtime
Throw in diaper changes whenever he needs them.

Told you it was a non-schedule. I'll schedule it up once he's a little older. Ofcourse I throw in lots of outdoor time, but we are down south, so it get's very hot very quick. We also visit other people and go shopping. I'm trying to find him playdates, but haven't had much luch. Once he's 2, I'll take him to the story time at the local library (sp). And I'm always looking on the internet for new things we can do.

Hey there! Great schedule for a little one! I agree...he's really young so a non-schedule is the most appropriate thing!
As for playdates...we aren't having much luck either. Today I am boldly going to our local library's Toddler/Preschooler storytime and I am coming with little pieces of paper (like business cards...ick...) that have my name and my e-mail adress. It's going to say "Your child plays really well with my child. Let's get them together again sometime!" and I'm going to include my e-mail address. Can't be too careful, so I am going to leave out my phone number and my daughter's name until the first e-mail. I mean, of course, they might overhear me referring to her by name, but I am not going to volunteer any information until I establish a bit more that they seem cool? Don't know. We really need little peeps for her to kick it with...I tried local homeschooling groups...but they are not so local.
So, wish us luck with that!
Sounds like you guys are having some really fun times, filled with developmentally appropriate activities LOL!!!!!
